How to Use the Business Hours Open Sign

Open your Wix site editor. Click the Add Elements (+) button on the left sidebar, navigate to the Apps section (or use the search bar), and drag the Business Hours Open Sign widget onto your desired page.

Click directly on the widget on your page. A menu will pop up above it. Click the Business Hours Settings button to open the configuration panel on the right side of the screen.

In the settings panel, under the Select Template section, click the drop-down menu. You can choose from several pre-designed layouts (like Template 1, Template 2, etc.) to find the look that best fits your site.

Below the template selection, ensure your Time Zone is set correctly (e.g., Africa/Cairo). This ensures the "Open/Closed" status is accurate.

Next, click the Business Hours tab. Here you can set your schedule for each day of the week:

Use the From and To dropdowns to set your opening and closing times, then Toggle the Closed switch on for any days your business is not operating.

Be sure to click the blue Save button at the bottom of the tab when finished.

Go back to the main settings panel and explore the other tabs to customize the appearance:

Color Settings: Click the color swatches to change the Default Days Color, Open Day Highlight Color, and Close Day Highlight Color to match your brand. You can use the color picker or enter specific HEX codes.

Edit States: Here you can customize the actual text that appears for your "Open" and "Closed" statuses (e.g., changing "WE ARE OPEN" to "Come On In!").

To ensure your sign looks correct, click the Preview button in the top right corner of the Wix editor. The preview will accurately reflect the current open/closed status based on the hours and time zone you set.

If everything looks good, go back to the editor, click Save, and then Publish to make your new hours live!
