Search for the World & Countries Map app in the Wix App Market and install it on your website.
When you install the app, it should automatically be added to your site.
If it isn’t, or you need to add it again, follow these steps:
Navigate to Add Element (+ icon).
Select App Widgets.
Choose the World & Countries Map widget.
Simply click or drag and drop it into your desired section on the site.
Finally, make sure to Save and Publish to apply the changes to your site.
To create, edit, or manage data on your map, you’ll need to access the app dashboard.
You can open the dashboard in any of the following ways:
Click on the widget in the editor and select Manage.
Go to the Settings Panel and choose Manage World Map Data.
From your Wix Dashboard, navigate to Apps and select World & Countries Map.
Once you’re in the app dashboard, you can either create a new map or edit an existing one.
Click Create New World Map to create a new template.
Hover over an existing map and click Edit to make changes, or delete any maps you no longer need.
When adding data points, you can choose between two data types: Numeric or Text, and assign a custom label as needed.
You can preview how your modal will appear in the preview section.
You can customize the widget directly from the app dashboard. Simply scroll down to find the following sections: Settings, Add Country Data, and Widget Preview.
In this section, you can choose whether to display the country flag, configure how the flag appears, adjust zoom options, and define how countries with no data should be displayed.
Here, you can add or delete countries and assign data points to the ones you want to display. You can also choose a specific color for each country and optionally add a link so that when a country is clicked, it redirects to your selected URL.
This section allows you to configure zoom and color settings for the map and preview how the widget will look on your live site.
Feel free to explore and personalize the widget to best suit your needs.
Make sure to save the template after creating or editing it to ensure your changes are applied.
After creating your map templates, go to your site editor and open the app settings panel. From there, use the dropdown menu to select the map template you’d like to display.
Don’t forget to click Save and Publish to apply your changes to the live site.
