How to use WhatsApp Chat PRO

Search for the WhatsApp Chat PRO app in the Wix App Market and install it on your website.

After installing, you’ll be automatically redirected to the app dashboard.

If not or if you need to access it later, you can open it anytime by going to:

Wix Dashboard > Apps > WhatsApp Chat PRO > Edit Widget

Once you open the app dashboard, you’ll see seven sections on the left panel:

General, Content, Agents, Design, Layout, Position, Visibility

This guide explains what each section does and how you can customize the widget to fit your needs.

Customize how the widget behaves and what your site visitors see.

User Appearance

Choose how the widget will function for visitors:

  • Simple Link - Opens WhatsApp directly. No chat popup.

  • Single Chat - Opens chat with one assigned agent.

  • Multi Chat - Allows visitors to choose from multiple agents.

User Attention

  • Show new message indicator - Displays a small notification dot on the chat badge.

  • Indicator Behavior

    • Smart - Dot appears after the welcome popup closes.

    • Always - Dot displays whenever the badge is visible.

  • Show Welcome Popup - Enable/disable a small introductory message when the widget first loads.

  • Change Content - Opens the Content tab to customize the welcome text.

Offline Agents

Control what happens when agents are unavailable:

  • Show but as offline - Agents appear as offline.

  • Hide offline agents - Offline agents are hidden.

This section contains two tabs: Badge and Welcome.

Badge

Modify:

  • Title

  • Icon

Welcome

Customize:

  • Welcome message text

  • Notification sound (None, Bell, Pop, Beep)

  • Sound volume (Low, Medium, High)

Add and manage the agents.

You can:

  • Add new agents

  • Edit WhatsApp numbers

  • Set availability schedules

  • Enable/disable agents

Control the appearance of the widget.

General

  • Choose a color theme

Advanced

  • Customize colors for individual elements (badge, text, buttons, etc.)

Set layout options for Desktop and Mobile.

Adjust where the widget appears on the screen.

Customize:

  • Alignment (left/right)

  • Margins

  • Desktop and mobile positioning

Control where the widget appears on your website.

Two options:

  1. Display on all pages

  2. Display only on selected pages

To add a page path:

Use only the URL path, not the full link.

Example:

If your page is my-site.com/contact-us, enter: /contact-us

Press Enter to add it. You can list multiple paths.

After completing your customization, make sure to Save & Publish your changes.

This ensures the widget appears correctly on the live site.
