How to use Low Stock FOMO

1. Add LOW STOCK FOMO to your website

Search for the Low Stock FOMO app in the Wix App Market and install it on your website.

2. Access the App Dashboard

Open the Low Stock FOMO app. On the main Analytics Overview page, click the Edit Widget button on the right side. This will open the Widget Builder.

3. Customize Your Notification Content

In the Widget Builder, you'll start on the Content tab. Here, you can control the text and rules for your pop-up:

  1. Template: Use the provided text box to write your message. You can use variables to automatically fill in the product name and remaining inventory.

  2. Data Source: Choose to automatically pull inventory data from Your Wix Store, or you can Set Manually if you want to control the exact numbers shown.

  3. Stock Settings: This is where you set your threshold. In the Notify when product stock is under field, enter a number (like 10). The widget will only appear for products with an inventory count below this number.

  4. Product Image & CTA: Toggle options to show the product image and add a "View Product" call-to-action button.

4. Set the Widget Behavior

Click the Behavior tab on the left menu. Here you control how and when the pop-up appears:

  1. When to Show: Choose to show the widget immediately on page load or after a delay.

  2. Display Duration: Set how long the notification stays on the screen.

  3. Page Targeting: Decide if the widget should appear on all pages, Product pages only, or Specific pages. (Note: You do not need to configure the Advanced tab for a basic setup).

5. Adjust Layout and Positioning

Click the Layout tab. Use the position grid to select where on the screen the notification will appear (e.g., bottom-left corner). You can fine-tune the spacing by adjusting the Top, Bottom, Left, or Right margins.

6. Match Your Brand's Appearance

Click the Appearance tab to style your widget.

  1. Themes: Choose from pre-designed color themes like Urgent Red or Trust Green.

  2. Colors & Design: Use the sub-tabs to further customize individual element colors, fonts, and animation styles to match your site.

7. Save and Publish

Always remember to save your work! Click the Save button in the top right corner of the screen, and then click Publish to make your Low Stock notifications live on your website.
