Search for the Product Compare app in the Wix App Market and install it on your website.
When you install the app, it should automatically be added to your site.
If it isn’t, or you need to add it again, follow these steps:
Open your Wix Editor.
Go to the Product page.
Click on the Plugin and then navigate to Product Compare and hover over it.
You will see an Add option; click on it.
Finally, make sure to Save and Publish to apply the changes to your site.
To set up product compare, you’ll need to access the app dashboard.
You can open the dashboard in any of the following ways:
Go to the Settings Panel and choose Manage Product Compare Data.
From your Wix Dashboard, navigate to Apps and select Product Compare.
Or go to the Manage Apps, and select Open Dashboard for the app.
Once you’re in the app dashboard, you can start by creating new templates to compare products.
First, click the Add Products button to select the products you want to compare.
Then, you can add product specifications manually or use the Generate with AI option.
Once done, click Create Template to save your changes.
When your specifications are ready, you can add them individually to each product by clicking the Add Spec button next to the relevant product.
Alternatively, you can use the Generate Specs with AI option to automatically fill in the specifications.
To view or edit all specifications in one place, click Manage All Product Specs.
From there, you can make manual changes or generate specs using AI.
Make sure to Save Changes.
Once everything is set up as needed, click Publish to make your changes live.
In the settings panel, go to Website Theme, then select Custom Text Settings to edit button text and available pop-up titles.
From the Palette Theme section, you can choose one of the default themes for the app.
Alternatively, you can create your own design by selecting the Custom Theme option.
Don’t forget to click Save and Publish to apply your changes to the live site.
