How to use Social Proof FOMO

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Open the Social Proof FOMO app. On the main Analytics Overview page, click the Edit Widget button on the right side. This will open the Widget Builder.

You'll start on the Content tab. Here, you can control what information appears in your pop-up:

  • Notification Content: Use the text box and the available placeholders (like [Customer_name] and [Product_name]) to format the message.

  • Data Source: Choose if the app should use real Site Orders Only, or a mix of Site Orders/Manual Fallback if you don't have recent sales. If using manual data, you can build a list of names and cities to display.

  • CTA Button: Toggle the Show button option to add a "View Product" button that links directly to the item.

Click the Behavior tab on the left menu. Here you control how and when the pop-up appears:

  • When to Show: Choose to show the widget immediately on page load or after a delay.

  • Display Duration: Set how long the notification stays on the screen before fading out.

  • Page Targeting: Decide if the widget should appear on all pages, Product pages only, or Specific pages. [Insert screenshot of the Behavior tab settings]

Click the Layout tab. Use the grid to select exactly where on the screen the notification will appear (e.g., bottom-left corner). You can also fine-tune the spacing by adjusting the Top, Bottom, Left, or Right margins.

Click the Appearance tab to style your widget.

  • Themes: Choose from pre-designed color themes like Trust Green, Urgent Red, or Professional Blue.

  • Design: Go to the Design sub-tab to select an Animation (like Fade In, Slide In, or Bounce) and customize the font style and border radius.

Once you have configured your settings, review the live preview on the screen. If everything looks good, click Save in the top right corner, then click Publish. Your Social Proof notifications are now live on your site!

Please consider adding a Review for the app where you mention how it has helped you achieve your goals. We prioritize adding features to an app based on how many reviews it's getting. Thank you for your help! โค๏ธ
