How to use Job Board & Careers Page

1. Add the App to Your Site

  • Navigate to the Wix App Market and search for the Job Board & Careers Page app by MarketPushApps.

  • Click the blue Add to Site button, select the website you want to install it on, and grant permissions to complete the installation.

2. Place the Widget on Your Page

  • Open your Wix Editor and click the Add Elements (+) button on the left sidebar.

  • Scroll down to the App Widgets category.

  • Locate the Job Board & Careers Page section and drag the Job Board Widget directly onto your page layout. It will automatically load a default list of jobs to help you visualize the design.

1. Access the Settings

  • Click directly on the Job Board widget you just placed on your page and click the Settings icon (shaped like a gear) to open the configuration panel.

2. Choose a Layout Template

  • Under the Template tab, choose your preferred structural style from the dropdown menu (e.g., Sidebar + View Job, Grid Cards, or Banner List).

  • Here, you can also fine-tune the visual flow by adjusting the Hero Image Position and Tag Display Style (Badge, Bullet, or Text), and the Action Trigger (Button, Arrow Icon, or Card).

3. Tailor the Theme & Colors

  • Open the Theming tab to align the widget with your brand. You can select pre-built color palettes (like Classic Blue or Deep Purple) or manually set your exact Success Color and Fail Color.

  • Use the dropdown menu at the top of the Theming tab to preview exactly how different interfaces (like the Job Detail Info, Job Application Form, or No Jobs Available screens) will look to your users.

4. Edit Custom Text

  • Need to translate the widget or change the default phrasing? Open the Custom Text tab to easily modify any labels, button texts, and headings across your entire job board.

Before posting a specific job, it helps to set up your core roles!

  • Inside the widget settings panel, click the blue Manage Job Board button to open your main app dashboard.

2. Add a New Role

  • Navigate to the Job Roles tab at the top of the dashboard.

2. Fill Out the Job Details (With AI!)

  • Select the Job Role you just created from the dropdown menu.

  • On the right side of the screen under Basic Information, set the operational details: choose the Department, type in the Location (e.g., London, UK), select the Employment Type (e.g., Full Time), define the Remote status, and enter the Salary overview.

  • If you only want to accept a specific number of resumes for this role, enter a number into the Maximum Number of Applicants field. Once this number is reached, the application will automatically close.

4. Set Application Limits & Requirements

  • Scroll down to the Required Application Fields section.

  • Use the toggle switches to choose exactly what information applicants must submit (such as Phone Number, LinkedIn Profile, Portfolio / Website, or Cover Letter).

5. Publish the Job

  • Once your listing looks perfect, click the blue Save and Publish button at the top of the page.

  • Close the dashboard and return to your Wix Editor.

  • Click the Save button in the top-right corner of the screen to save your new layout.

  • Finally, click the blue Publish button to push your beautiful new career portal live to your visitors!

Once your job is live and visitors begin to apply, you will manage all incoming submissions directly from your dashboard.

1. The Applicant Experience

  • When a visitor clicks Apply Now on your live site, a dynamic application form will open.

  • Once submitted, they will see a "Congratulations" confirmation screen.

2. Reviewing the Submissions

  • Back in your app dashboard, navigate to the Applications tab. You will see a table listing all submitted candidates.

  • Click the blue View button next to a candidate's name to open their full application profile.
