This page explains how to delete the data the Instagram app for Wix by MarketPushApps (also shown as "Instagram Feed") holds about an Instagram account. Anyone whose Instagram account was connected to the app can use it, whether or not the app is still installed.

What gets deleted: the access token, the saved profile (username, name, profile picture link, post and follower numbers) and the saved posts (links, captions, hashtags, like and comment numbers). Option 1: Click Disconnect in the app (Site Owners)

Open the app's settings on your Wix site.

Click Disconnect next to the Instagram account and confirm.

This deletes the token, saved profile, posts and stats for that account at once.

Option 2: Remove the app from your Wix site (Site Owners)

Click Apps in the left menu, then Manage Apps.

Find Instagram, click the ⋮ (More Actions) icon next to it and click Remove.

1. Go to your Wix site's dashboard.
2. Click Apps in the left menu, then Manage Apps.
3. Find Instagram, click the ⋮ (More Actions) icon next to it and click Remove.
4. Confirm.

When Wix tells us the app was removed, we delete the Instagram token, profile, posts and stats for that site.

Option 3: Remove the app's access in Instagram

Tap the menu (☰) and then Settings and activity.

Tap Website permissions, then Apps and websites.

Under Active, find the app and tap Remove.

1. Open Instagram and go to your profile.
2. Tap the menu (☰) and then Settings and activity.
3. Tap Website permissions, then Apps and websites.
4. Under Active, find the app and tap Remove.

The app can then no longer read your account. We delete your access token at once, and the saved profile and posts within 30 days.

If Instagram sends us a data deletion request for your account, we delete the connection, profile and posts right away. You get a confirmation code and a link where you can check the status of your request.

Send an email to <a href="mailto:contact@marketpushapps.com" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">contact@marketpushapps.com</a> with the subject "Instagram data deletion" and include:

the address of the Wix site where the app was installed, if you know it.

- your Instagram username, and
- the address of the Wix site where the app was installed, if you know it.

We delete the data within 30 days and confirm by email. To protect your account, we may ask you to confirm that the Instagram account or the Wix site is yours.
