How to enable the Affiliate Program for a select group of users.

Updated over a year ago

Let's assume that you want to make the Affiliate Program available only for some of your users. In short, you can achieve this by creating an Affiliate Portal page, and enabling the widgets to display only when the site member is visiting this particular page. Afterward, you will share the Affiliate Page with the users that should become Affiliates.

Here is how you can enable the Affiliate Portal on a single page of your site:

1. You would need to create a page on your site. Let's say, my-site.com/affiliate (it can be anything you choose)

On this page, you can provide the details on the incentives and how affiliates can earn using your program. Furthermore, you can also offer a short tutorial on how the affiliate program works: how affiliates can register and how to use the shareable link.

2. Navigate to the Affiliate Portal page and set the pages for which the widgets should appear.

Please note that you should enter a url on your site (e.g. /affiliate), therefore you should NOT enter you page name.

3. Your plan must be PRO or above to use this feature.

---------------------

After the setup is completed, it will work in the following way:

  • Regular site members that login on your site will not see the Affiliate widgets unless they visit your affiliate page my-site.com/affiliate . For any other page, the Affiliate widgets will be hidden. Visitors that are not logged in will not any widget regardless of the page.

  • Affiliates that registered on your Affiliate program by going to my-site.com/affiliate will see Affiliate widgets on all your pages while being logged in if the Dashboard page is not restricted to certain pages.

If you require to test this feature before upgrading & going live, please let us know on chat and we will provide a PRO coupon for 1 month free.

If you don't want users to find your affiliate page unless they have the direct url, you can consider preventing Search Engines from indexing your page.
