Using this app you can create Tutorials for your site visitors. A tutorial is split into steps, and you can change the step types to fit your presentation. The main advantage of the app is that it can very easily allow you to build tutorials that are responsive and have a great layout.
The app comes with 2 predefined templates that serve as examples. You can very easily modify a step to a different step type. Although the app will still show the base tutorial in the app, you can change and save the steps to your desired content.
As a way of working, we really suggest that you create the content first in a new Google Doc - it's much faster to sketch your content there. After you are done with the content, move it into the app.
If you don't have the app already added on your site, here is how you can add it again.
Click the + sign in the left editor menu:
Scroll down to App Widgets, select the Tutorial widget, then add it to your site.
Additionally, if you need to duplicate an existing Tutorial widget on any page, you can select the Tutorial widget, hit ctrl+c then in the new location press ctrl+v, exactly how you would copy paste text.
To change the number of steps, please use the following dropdown:
If your tutorial has more than 5 steps, you can consider adding 2 Tutorial widget one after another - this way you can have any number of steps.
To change a step type you can just select a new format for your current step, and the step will get the chosen format. From there, you can freely customise it.
The app supports multiple Image types and size ratios. If you are not sure, you can try these formats and see what works best.
The app elements are regular Wix Editor elements. Feel free to modify them as you would with any elements in the Editor.
