1. Search for the Search & Filter Gallery app in the Wix App Market and install it on your website.
2. Navigate to Add Element (+ icon) and select App Widgets. From there, choose the Search & Filter Gallery widget and simply drag and drop it into your desired section on the site.
3. Finally, make sure to Save and Publish to apply the changes to your site.
You can customize the widget layout using the Settings Panel. Here's a quick overview of the available options:
Select how your items should appear by choosing one of the following sizes:
Size S (Small)
Size M (Medium)
Size L (Large)
Decide which view you'd like to customize:
Edit Gallery State – to edit the main display of items
Edit No Results State – to customize what users see when there are no items
Toggle visibility for each of these elements:
Image
Title
Sub Text 1
Sub Text 2
Action Button
Choose how the results should be loaded and displayed:
Show All Items – display everything at once
Enable Pagination – split results into pages (with extra settings available)
Enable ‘Load More’ Button – load items in batches as the user clicks (with customization options)
Allow users to search within your items by enabling this option.
Select Searchable Fields – Choose which data fields users can search through.
Customize the Search Bar
Add filtering options to help users narrow down results. Choose from four filter types:
Checkbox Group
Selection Tags
Dropdown
Range Slider
For each filter:
Select One Type – Pick one of the above filter types to apply.
Assign a Data Field – Choose which field the filter will apply to.
Customize Filter Appearance
Let users sort items based on specific fields.
Choose Sortable Fields – Select which fields can be used for sorting.
Customize Sorting Options
Remember to explore and personalize your widget to suit your needs.
Don't forget to Save and Publish to apply your changes to the live site!
