When creating a form that you want to use for sending alerts to your site users via the SMS Blast app, please follow these steps carefully.
Once you create a New Wix Form, note that you cannot change the Field Key after saving the form.
If you intend to use any form field within the app, make sure to set consistent Field Keys for each field across all the forms you plan to connect to the SMS Blast app.
Tip: The Phone field is mandatory, as alerts are sent based on phone numbers.
To find the Field Key:
Click on the field inside your form.
Go to the Advanced tab.
You’ll see the Field Key listed there.
After saving your form, copy the Phone Field Key and paste it into the Phone Field section inside the app.
You’ll also need to provide the Form Name in the app’s Dashboard > Wix Form (Customers) section.
Make sure to Save and Publish your website in the Wix Editor.
This ensures that the latest form setup (including field names and form name) is reflected on your live site.
Once you’ve added the Form Name and Phone Field Key in the app, turn the notification toggle ON.
That’s it! Anyone submitting the form will now receive an SMS alert to the phone number they provided.
You can connect multiple forms by separating their names with a semicolon (;).
