The app does not provide a way to get the marketing consent of the customers. It's built in a way where it integrates directly with other system such as Wix Contacts and it assumes that you have consent of the customers.
In general, it's necessary to obtain a consent for messaging your customers via SMS. The best way to receive this consent is by adding a checkbox in the subscribe / user registration form, where the customer "I want to receive news/updates/etc via SMS". Also, it's possible to get the consent offline, via filled forms etc.
